Rice and Almond Kheer is a sweet pudding made of rice and almond. Traditionally sweet dishes are prepared by Indians on religious puja or festivals as ‘prasadam’ or ‘naivedyam’ offering to the Gods.
Prepared this usual kheer / ‘payasam’ with almond paste and condensed milk along with rice and milk. I had some almond flakes that my sister had sent me so I could just soak it and grind to a paste. If using the whole almonds, you need to soak, peel the skin and then grind to paste.
Tastes good hot, cold, or chilled. We just need a reason to pamper our sweet tooth. So, try this easy way to prepare.
