“With one bite of this Indian-inspired dish, you will develop a new appreciation for cauliflower” – Chef Colin Cowie.
Sunday is the day, rather Saturday evening onward, I do my planning on what recipes to post next on the blog. Leafing through ‘The Oprah Magazine Cookbook’, this recipe by Chef Colin Cowie caught my eye as Big Basket had just delivered two medium cauliflowers.
One of the cauliflower went into making the very famous Punjabi dish – the aloo gobi.
With the other cauliflower I tried my hand at the recipe from the cookbook.
I followed the recipe entirely, my twist was I garnished with some toasted black sesame seeds at the end and increased the chillies a bit. Used 2 tbsps of oil instead of the suggested 3 tbsps.
