Wheat Noodle Ribbons In Habanero Sauce And Vegetables is my version of a simple noodle recipe using flat noodles and Habanero Sauce.
While rummaging through the pantry today to decide on what to cook for lunch, I found a packet of wheat noodles (flat ones) bought some days ago. checked my refrigerator for my vegetables in hand, found I had some beans, carrot, cabbage, and capsicum. Next I needed to check what sauces were there to prepare the noodles.
I decided to use the pepper sauce or habanero sauce instead of the conventional Chinese sauces.
Habanero chili is the hottest among all the chillies/peppers with the highest Scoville rating. Scoville scale measures the heat and pungency of spicy foods. The habanero sauce is made from these habanero peppers/habanero chillies. These sauces are easy available is stores.
The flat noodles, after they were cooked, looked like lovely long ribbons, hence decided to use ‘ribbons’ in the recipe name.
My children love their food spicier, so it is going to be peppery all the way…..green pepper (capsicum), green chilli, cracked black pepper, and pepper sauce (Habanero sauce).
Spring onions can also be used, I did not have them today at home.
